Alex is pretty much my new favorite bright and shiny thing. Sonya Tayeh's work is usually pretty hit or miss for me, but if this is the sort of purity of dance we can expect from Season 7 with the addition of the all-stars, then bring it on. I mean, come on... did you see Alex's controlled extensions?!? I'd pick up the phone for that.
*I usually only want to hear Rufus Wainwright sing this song (AND THAT'S IT), but Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah was a pleasant surprise.

I know what you mean about Rufus and "Hallelujah." But there really is something about that song that makes it ripe for covers, isn't there? I like Buckley's version. And have you heard John Cale's or K.D. Lang's? So well done.
Angie - People LOVE this song for covers. I've heard K.D. Lang's but not John Cale's version - I'll have to go check that out too. Maybe I'll go listen to Rufus one more time though...
Michelle! I LOVE this show! I haven't watched this episode because I'm been technology free for the past week, so I can't dish there but I did really like Lee DeWyze's cover of "Hallelujah" from this season of AI. You should check it out.
